PROJECT DESCRIPTION

IDFG selected Brandt to replace its existing suite of hunt/fish licensing, hunter reporting, controlled hunt drawings, and a suite of administrative applications. Brandt began the development of a new, customized Go Outdoors Idaho solution in December 2019 and went live in eleven months on November 1, 2020. The implementation of the Go Outdoors solution brought significant updates and changes to improve the purchase process and overall customer service.

The transition of the new Go Outdoors Idaho solution included the coordination of several components, including the transition of 450+ existing point of sale hardware units. Brandt leveraged existing hardware to continue operations for all License Agents and provided full online training prior to implementation.

As part of the solution implementation, Brandt’s platform supports the complex sale of big game tags via First Come, First Serve issuance methods while supporting highly complex and rapidly changing legislative requirements and business rules. Using a proven data model, Brandt worked with IDFG to reduce the number of big game tag products by 200+, while streamlining the purchase process via a queuing system to support overall fairness.
